What are the differences between the different Tap Master models?

The ULTRA and UV models have an ultraviolet light filter to destroy microorganisms. The IRON and ULTRA models have an iron pre-filter to remove iron from the water before it can damage the RO membrane. If your private well contains iron you must remove it or it will destroy the reverse osmosis membrane. The Artesian model adds minerals to the water after the reverse osmosis membrane removes virtually everything. The patented Artesian Full Contact version remineralizes the water twice restoring 100% more minerals than the regular Tap Master Artesian and makes the water slightly alkaline.  Adding minerals to the water adjusts the pH and improves the taste. All of the Tap Master systems can be ordered with an Artesian, or Artesian Full Contact upgrade.

Other options available on all Tap Masters:
Permeate pump – a non-electric pump that reduces water waste, increases water production, produces slightly cleaner water.
Anti-microbial tubing prevents growth of microorganisms on the inside of the tubing.
Refrigerator connection kit allows you to easily connect your Tap Master to your refrigerator water and ice center. You may also use this kit to connect to some coffee makers, humidifiers, or other water using appliances (not dishwashers or laundry).
Upgraded RO Faucets have more elegant finishes and styles, and deliver better water flow.
